Dunollie Castle sits above the town offering spectacular views of Oban Bay and the island of Kerrara. Along with the castle, visitors can explore the museum and grounds.
Opening details: Monday - Saturday 10am - 4pm, Sundays 1pm - 4pm(March to October). Closed for winter( November to March)

Oban War & Peace Museum
Just off the main high street, this museum is worth a visit as it contains some great artefacts from past wars and stories. The staff are extremely informative and helpful too so worth having a chat to.

Oban distillery can be part of a day’s tour around the town. Located centrally on a steep cliff, the distillery produces one of Scotland’s oldest fine malt whiskies.
