  • HRH Prince Charles Visit to Thainstone House

David Mcdonald, General Manager of Thainstone House was delighted to welcome Prince Charles to the hotel on 13th June 2017.  Prince Charles attended a Fishing into the Future training programme at Thainstone House, a programme that is a fisherman-led scheme dedicated to making fisheries management more sustainable.  View the media coverage here>>

We are proud to be partnered with ELEMIS at a number of our hotels, a spa brand that supports many fantastic charities and non-profit organisations which tackle issues close to their heart. This reflects our own ethos to help local communities, groups and charities through our very own Crerar Hotels Trust. Guests can experience spa and beauty treatments which use the ELEMIS product range at many of our properties.

  • Funding for Lifelites

If you have three minutes, then please watch this video, featuring the amazing 'Eyegaze' technology, which Crerar Hotels Trust has been able to support, via a grant of £10,046. General Manager of Chevin Country Park Hotel & Spa, Mark Starkey and his proud team visited the Lifelites Centre in Wetherby to see this magical technology being put to use, helping out terminally ill and disabled children at Martin House Children's Hospice. Mark later remarked that, "It was incredible to see how technology can give children the opportunities they wouldn’t otherwise have."

Crerar Hotels Trust is only able to help charities like Lifelites because of the patron of our loyal customers. Up to 50% of our guest's custom is donated to charity and community projects across the country.

The recipient of a Robert Gordon University (RGU) scholarships, funded by the Crerar Hotels Trust, has revealed that securing award has, “changed” her life at University.

Inverness Caledonian Thistle stars Gary Warren and Carl Tremarco made a splash at Golf View Hotel & Spa in Nairn on Sunday 29th January 2017, to encourage a happier and healthier lifestyle in 2017.
