Some classic fell walks can be enjoyed from Grasmere and Rydal, including Helm Crag and Fairfield Horseshoe. Other popular walks such as Easedale Tarn and Silver Howe and Alcock Tarn are highly recommended.

Directions to Daffodil

The Daffodil Hotel & Spa is easily accessible from both Scotland and England. By car, from the south of England, take the M6 to junction 36 and follow signs for Kendal on the A590, then the A591 toward Grasmere. From Scotland, follow the M74, then join the M6 southbound, exiting at junction 40 for Penrith, and follow the A592 toward Keswick, then A591 to Grasmere. For those arriving by train, Windermere Station is just a 20-minute drive away, with direct routes from major cities, including London and Glasgow, making it easy to reach this beautiful Lake District retreat.
