Fonab Castle has level access with guest rooms situated on the ground floor. Public areas are located on the first floor, where there is a mix of wooden flooring and carpet, accessible via a lift.
If you have any allergies, we ask that you speak to our reception team when checking in or to our restaurant team before placing an order to ensure we can cater to your intolerance.
Yes, free WiFi internet access is available throughout the castle.
Yes, our car park is located at the hotel entrance on a level, tarmac surface. We also have a drop-off point at the front door where our Concierge can assist with unloading luggage.
Guest check-in time is 3pm and check-out is 11am. We also offer early check-in and check-out times if advance notice is given. A supplementary charge applies.
Yes, we can accommodate family holidays.
Our castle can accept payments made in cash (Sterling only) and most major credit/debit cards (Visa, MasterCard, Maestro, Delta, Solo, American Express, Discover & Diners Club International). Please be aware that Fonab Castle does not accept personal or travellers cheques as a form of payment.
Advance payment may be made by any of the aforementioned methods or by bank transfer. Please get in touch with the hotel for details.
Yes, we do in our pup-friendly rooms - Loch View Lodge Rooms and Woodland Lodge Rooms (excluding Superior Rooms). A charge of £30.00 per night applies. Dogs are not permitted in any area of the main hotel building. Dog Kennels are also available.
Guests are not permitted to smoke inside the castle or rooms as per Scottish legislation. All bedrooms and public areas are non-smoking.

There is a lot to see and do. Local distilleries are Edradour, Blair Atholl Malt (Bells) Dewars Aberfeldy. For shopping, we recommend Macnaughton and House of Bruar. Take a cycling trip or bike rental Escape route or indulge in some 4×4 driving at Butterstone. Our concierge team is on hand to make arrangements ahead of or during your stay.
