The newly renovated house sleeps up to 10 people and features all the hallmarks of our five-star inn, with the added benefit of exclusive spaces such as a lounge, outdoor hot tub, and fully equipped kitchen. The self-catering house offers Wi-Fi, crisp cotton bed linen, towels, and toiletries from The Highland Soap Co. For your comfort, a welcome basket with treats from Tunnocks, plus board games and books, is available.
After a day of exploring, cosy up by the log burner or visit the multiple restaurants at the property from Steak & Lobster Bistro, The Dining Room, Fish & Chips Co., or have a pizza takeaway from Red Shed Pizza.
Four paws are welcome, Island View House and The Glencoe Inn are both dog friendly and will be welcomed by our resident dog Bear.

Things to do in and around Glencoe
Here are some of the fun activities you can do around The Island View self-catering cottage.
The Coire Gabhail - a rocky hanging valley between the first two ‘sisters’ of the Three Sisters mountains, also known as the Lost Valley.
The Devil's Staircase - a stretch of the West Highland Way leading from Glencoe across into Kinlochleven.
The Two Lairigs Walk - a longer circular walk that traverses the Lairig Eilde and Lairig Gartain between the Three Sisters, around the base of Buachaille Etive Beag.
Glencoe Falls - The falls of Glencoe is an unofficially named waterfall in Glencoe, otherwise known as the Meeting of Three Waters, located between Glencoe and Altnafeadh.
Waterfalls on the Three Sisters Mountains - a beautiful green valley filled with rolling hills and waterfalls. It's perfect for a full day of adventure exploring the surrounding area of Glencoe.
Steall Falls - This 120 metres waterfall is a bit further from the Island view, however, the 40 minutes drive is worth it. The sounds, sights and smells highlight the power of nature and the incredible landscapes that Scotland and the Highlands have on offer. The falls also feature in the Harry Potter and Goblet of Fire.

Castle Stalker - Castle Stalker is one of the most authentic Scottish castles and sits surrounded by water on Loch Linhe. A limited number of tours are available each year.
Glenfinnan Monument - The monument marks the location where Bonnie Prince Charlie started the Jacobite Rising that was eventually quelled at the Battle of Culloden.
The Lochs - You can start with Loch Tulla near the Bridge of Orchy, in which Scottish-bred salmon live. Lochan na h-Achlaise could be your next stop. A small loch, with beautiful scenery and small islands. Finally, Loch Ba which is made up of small rivers and pockets of water running along both sides of the A82.
