Directions to Loch Fyne Hotel & Spa
From Glasgow, follow the Great Western road (A82) along the western shore of Loch Lomond. At Tarbet, take the A83 for over the Rest and be Thankful mountain pass. As you enter Inveraray, go past the famous Inveraray Jail and our hotel is located 400 yards further along on the right. From the south, as you enter Inveraray, Loch Fyne Hotel & Spa is in the row of prominent houses on your left hand side, facing the loch.

Inveraray is a town in Argyll and Bute, located on the western banks of Loch Fyne.
We definitely think so. Inveraray Castle is a popular attraction amongst our guests, and arguably one of the best castles in Scotland. The drive contains breathtaking scenery, the castle itself is described as fairytale with gorgeous architecture. You can spend hours browsing their collections and exploring the beautifully kept grounds.
Inveraray does not have a beach, however, it boasts beautiful views across the shore on Front Street. There is a picturesque walk which takes you from Front Street, along to Inveraray Castle.
Loch Fyne is home to an abundance of magnificent wildlife, particularly stunning seabirds such as cormorants, gannets and swans. In summer, there have been several occasions where there have been sightings of seals and otters from the shore of Loch Fyne. You might even spot a red squirrel when exploring the woodlands and forests.
Loch Fyne is 65km (40 miles) long which flows from the Sound of Bute, making it the longest sea loch in Scotland.
