Meet the chef - Dawid Spychalski

Dawid is from Bydgoszcz, Poland. He's always loved cooking. His mum could never get him out of the kitchen, and she says he was always sprucing up her dishes, adding spices, and helping in any way he could. It was Dawid's Granny who inspired his love for cooking. He loved cooking big family dinners together with her and learning the basics from a young age. He's been in Scotland for over 18 years and has gained plenty of experience, diligently working his way up to Head Chef. Dawid has been part of the team at Oban Bay Hotel for over 5 years and contributed to The Grill Room, receiving their first AA Rosette in 2019.
