Friday 9th and Saturday 10th August 2019

Set within the stunning Perthshire hills, the two day event takes place near Aberfeldy’s famous Wade Bridge. Friday involves horse and pony classes, show classes, and a pet show. Whilst Saturday showcases the farmer’s championships, dancing and heavyweight competitions, and carrying the Menzies stone.

Crieff Highland Gathering

The Crieff Highland Gathering dates back to 1870. Attracting around 6000 people each year, the games host an array of traditional events. In particular the Scottish Heavyweight Championship Running and Salute to the Chieftain. Two fantastic events not to be missed.

Pitlochry Highland Games

Last year the Pitlochry Highland Games attracted 7000 spectators from around the world. A spectacular street parade of pipe bands takes place at 11.45am. Followed by traditional piping and dancing events and more athletic events of track and field, tossing the caber, and putting the stone.
