At the Daffodil we’re getting ready for the festive season ahead. You can expect breathtaking landscapes and luxury surroundings but we have plenty of other treats in store for guests this festive season…

A is for Appetite                                   

Whether you dream of a full Christmas dinner with all the trimmings, a luxury festive buffet or perhaps festive Afternoon Tea? Our executive chef Graham Harrower has designed a Festive Fare Menu to temp and delight, offering a unique mix of comfort food with a fine dining twist.

B is for Beautiful location

Spend Christmas day by the shores of Grasmere, go for a stroll by the lake admiring the breath-taking views or cozy up with a Christmas coffee (or cocktail) in our Lake View lounge.

C is for Cocktails

Try one of our festive inspired cocktails/mocktails such as the Christmas Cosmo or Amaretto Fizz to really get you in the festive mood.

D is for DJs

Dance the night away with friends, family or colleagues to all your favourite tunes at our Christmas party night and let our live band and resident DJ provide the perfect vibe.

H is for His & Hers

Our Mud Rasul therapy is perfect for couples. It allows the bathers to apply natural mineral mud product to the face and body, before the room lighting is gently dimmed and relaxing fibre optic lighting fills the ceiling. The bathers sit in the enfolding warmth of heated individual seats, before steam is introduced into the Rasul. Warmth of the steam opens the pores and allows the enriched products to enter the body, where it stimulates the blood flow, helps revive the tissue and stimulates the lymphatic system. After approximately 20 minutes the treatment is brought to an end when a warm shower mist descends from the ceiling to gently wash away the remaining product.
