Perthshire is a mature sporting destination that offers visitors outstanding sporting experiences amongst stunning and dramatic landscapes.

From game shooting – including pheasant, grouse, partridge, hare and pigeon – to wildfowling, deer stalking (red, fallow, roe and sika deer) – to ‘birdies’ of a different kind with County Clays – the biggest sporting clay pigeon range in Scotland. Air Rifle Shooting and Archery also available.

TARGET CLAY SHOOTING

This is one of the most scenic shooting facilities in Scotland. The shooting centre is the largest sporting clay pigeon range in Scotland consisting of 14 stands each incorporating six to nine different targets from bolting rabbits and driven grouse to fast pheasants.

Taster Clay session  includes 15 cartridges, instruction and gun hire. A great introduction to clay pigeon shooting.

Shared and Beginners Clay session -25 shot lesson, an exclusive lesson one to one instruction for you and or your friends and family. -32 shot lesson, clients that shoot regularly but need instruction on specific targets. Clients encounter different targets such as an incoming duck, walked up pheasant and bolting rabbit.

Advanced Clays -50 shot lesson for more experienced clients that perhaps have shot before. -75 shot lesson for clients that shoot regularly but need instruction on specific targets. -100 shot lesson for experienced shots that shoot regularly or shoot game.

Directions to us :

If you head towards Dunkeld House hotel, PH80HX. You will come through a stone archway and drive along to the trees. You will see a road to the right there just at the trees and a green forestry sign titled “Kennelbank”. If you take that right and keep to the left when you reach the top of the hill. The signs should be clear enough for you from there though.

Park in the car park and walk along to the wooden lodge where an instructor will meet you. If an instructor is not waiting for you, please have a seat on the wooden benches on our Patio and they will be along shortly.

Please ensure you are 15 minutes early for your booking. If you are late then you may not have time to complete your full activity and we really want you to have the most enjoyable experience possible while visiting us.

If you can wear a jersey or jacket of reasonable thickness and sensible shoes for your lesson.

DEER STALKING AND PHEASANT, PARTRIDGE & GROUSE SHOOTS

Deer stalking in Scotland has centuries of history and tradition behind it, and is an excellent way to really get to know the country and its wildlife. Atholl Estate is famous for having some of the finest red stag stalking in Scotland, but we also offer hind stalking, along with some roe and fallow.

Whether you’re looking to hunt pheasant, go grouse shooting or stalk deer, we can arrange small walked up shooting days or large driven pheasant and partridge shoots, you will appreciate the high quality of sport on the stunning Perthshire Estates.

FULL DAY EXPERIENCE

A one hour lesson using recurve bows and gas compressed rifles, activity can be split half hour of each or a full hour of one.
