The Heart 200 is Scotland’s newest road trip. After the success of North Coast 500 the heart of Scotland can now be explored via a dedicated touring route.
The new tourist route takes in 200 miles of stunning scenery around Perth, Highland Perthshire, Stirling, and The Trossachs. Scotland’s most famous national parks, Loch Lomond and the Cairngorms, are also connected via the route.
Where Does the Heart 200 Route Go?
Heart 200 is split into six regional sections.
The Riverside East – Dunkeld and Birnam, Pitlochry, Grandtully, Blairgowrie, and Scone Palace.
The Highland North – Loch Tay, Kenmore, Aberfeldy, Killin, Blair Atholl, and Killiecrankie.
The Wooded Western Edge – Loch Lomond and The Trossachs National Park, Callander, and Aberfoyle.
Perth – Huntingtower Castle, Branklyn Garden, and many of Perth’s attraction including the Perth Museum and Art Gallery.
The Southern Boundary – Crieff, Comrie, Kinross, and Loch Leven.
Stirling – The National Wallance Monument, Stirling Castle, and many of Stirling’s attractions.
