Walking in Pitlochry, Perthshire

Ben Vrackie
Just North of our village of Pitlochry, Ben Vrackie is one of the many Corbets of Scotland. Its summit is 841 metres high. This moderate-difficulty hike to the top and back to the car park takes between 3.5 to 5 hours, depending on your experience.
If you are lucky enough to experience the grandeur of this hike on a clear day, you can see across the village of Pitlochry, the rolling hills of Perthshire, and the crystal reflection of nearby lochs and rivers.
Loch Faskally Circuit
For those looking for a gentler walk, enjoy this circuit around Loch Faskally. Enjoy the sights and sounds of the loch beside you and the forest overhead, letting nature rejuvenate your senses.
Pass by the Pitlochry Salmon Ladder or stop in for a mid-walk lunch at Fonab Castle. With extraordinary views over the loch and forest beyond, it is the ideal place to take a rest during your walk and has a direct pathway up to its doorway from the circuit.
