Crerar Hotels is continuing to deliver on its commitment to investment in its people and portfolio – this time announcing a six-figure investment in Loch Fyne Hotel & Spa.

Crerar Hotel Group is spending £765,000 on upgrading the spa within the Loch Fyne property – part of a wider programme of work across three of its seven four- and five-star hotels and inns, and the first phase of the hotel group’s ambitious plans to offer outstanding experiences across each of its spa hotels.

Work on Loch Fyne’s new ‘Shore Spa’ has already begun, and will include additional therapy suites, a healing Himalayan salt room, eucalyptus steam treatment alongside a brand-new terrace with loch-side saunas, ice drenches and further improvements to the existing hydro experience.

Expected to be completed in time for Valentine’s Day, the new Shore Spa is set to rival some of the best in the country.

The refurbishment is part of an ongoing programme of investment going into the New Year, which will see a total of £4.5 million spent across Golf View Hotel & Spa in Nairn and the Balmoral Arms (formerly Deeside Inn) at Ballater, as well as Loch Fyne Hotel & Spa.

Joanna Whysall, General Manager of Loch Fyne Hotel & Spa, said:

“Investing in Loch Fyne Hotel & Spa means we can offer guests the highest standards and best possible experiences as they take in all that our stunning corner of Scotland has to offer.

“When the work is complete, Shore Spa will rival some of the best in the country, helping us to showcase the best in authentic Scottish hospitality – which is particularly important as international travel begins to well and truly open up.

“We’re very much looking forward to showing off the results of the refurbishment when the work is complete.”

The tranche of investment across the three properties comes just months after Crerar Hotels unveiled the results of a £500,000 investment in the five-star Glencoe Inn and a £3.5 million transformation of Isle of Mull Hotel & Spa.

It takes the Group’s total spend on the portfolio to £10 million over the past 12 months.
