Oban Bay Hotel
The stylish Atlantic Bar serves hearty meals throughout the day and the Rannachan Restaurant showcases the very best of Oban’s local produce. The restaurant offers a daily changing menu (depending on the catch of the day!) and a carefully constructed a la carte menu featuring fresh, local seafood and a selection of classic dishes that have been given our twist.
If it’s a break away from the hustle and bustle of city life, then Oban provides that perfect retreat. Use the steam room and sauna and take in expansive views of the bay to help you feel a million miles away from everyday life.
How to find us...
Oban lies at the western end of the A85 road. It also has a railway station from where a number of First Scot Rail trains run to and from Glasgow Queen Street daily. The town is also an important ferry port, known as the "Gateway to the Isles". Ferries sail to the islands of Lismore, Colonsay, Islay, Coll, Tiree, Craignure on Mull and many more.
Scottish Citylink run buses from Glasgow's Buchanan bus station several times a day, in summer, buses run from Dundee via Perth and to Edinburgh via Stirling.
West Coast Motors operate many local services and also coach links as far south as Lochgilphead and as far north as Fort William.
